County redevelopment authority recognizes former board member

The Warren County Redevelopment Authority recently recognized former board member Chuck Barone for his contributions to the organization and the community it serves.

RDA members recently presented Barone with a commemorative plaque. Barone dedicated nine years to the RDA board, during which his extensive expertise and steadfast guidance left a lasting impact. One of the most notable accomplishments during Barone’s tenure was his instrumental role in creating the Warren County Landbank. As a founding member of the initiative, Barone was deeply involved in shaping the Landbank into a critical tool for addressing property revitalization and community development challenges within Warren County.

The land bank has since become a resource for tackling blighted properties and repurposing them to better serve the community.

“Chuck Barone has been an invaluable asset to the Warren County RDA,” said Phil Gilbert, current chair of the RDA and the County Landbank. “His expertise and commitment have significantly benefited our community. We are deeply grateful for his contributions.”
