School district slates open houses for Sheffield, Youngsville students

The Warren County School District is hosting open houses for students from Sheffield Area High School and Youngsville High School, both set to close, as well as their families.

The open houses are designed to help students explore their new schools and prepare for the transition and to provide insights into the schools, offer opportunities for questions, and highlight the unique features of each campus.

An open house for those slated to attend Warren Area High School will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Monday while the open house at Eisenhower Middle-High School will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 5. The schedule for both open houses is for school tours from 5 to 5:45 p.m. and then an informational session with a question and answer period from 5:45 to 6:30 p.m.

To ensure accessibility, the school district is offering transportation for attendees. A bus will leave Youngsville Elementary School at 4:30 p.m. to bring participants to each open house location. Those requiring transportation can sign up at the Youngsville Middle High School office or email Liz Kent at kentel@wcsdpa.org to reserve a spot.

Additional open houses and activities are planned for the spring and summer.

Starting at $2.99/week.
