Warren Rotary Club to host Casino Night fundraiser
The Warren Rotary Club invites the community to its annual Tropical Casino Night on Saturday at the Conewango Club, 201 Market St..
The event runs from 6:30 to 11 p.m. Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the door, which includes entry, appetizers, and a glass of tropical punch. Guests are encouraged to don their best tropical attire for a chance to win the costume contest. There will also be games of chance, a basket giveaway and a cash bar.
“This is our signature event,” said Bruce Williams, a Rotary Club member. “We’ve had other events in the past, but this is our most successful one, benefiting our programs.”
Proceeds from the evening will go toward scholarships for students and funding adaptive and sensory equipment upgrades at Lacy Park, a local playground. The capstone of phase one of improvements at Lacy Park was the multi-sensory playground.
Phase two, completed in 2022, was the installation of a rubber safety surface on the playground. Rotary Club members are now raising money for the third phase of Lacy Park improvements.
“The great part about this fundraiser is not only that it’s fun for everyone to get out in February when there’s not much going on, but it also raises funds for our important programs.”
The night is highly anticipated by members and attendees alike.
“I’m really looking forward to this year’s fundraiser,” said Vicki Willman, another Rotary Club member. “Our casino night is always lots of fun. It’s exciting to see everyone dress up, get out, and have a good time while benefiting the community.”
