Hamlin Bank and Trust Company is expanding its reach in Northwestern Pennsylvania with a new branch set to open in Sheffield, 101 S. Main St.
The new location, anticipated to open before April 30, will mark Hamlin Bank’s eighth branch. The state-chartered commercial bank, established in 1863, was the first financial institution to serve McKean County and has since grown to operate in multiple locations across Pennsylvania and New York, including Smethport, Kane, Mt. Jewett, Eldred, Bradford, Olean, and St. Marys.
“We are excited to bring Hamlin Bank’s trusted financial services to the Sheffield and greater Warren County area,” said Jonathan H. Benedict, Hamlin Bank senior vice president and senior loan officer. “Our goal is to provide personalized, one-on-one attention to all customers while meeting the diverse financial needs of individuals and businesses. We understand the importance of having a community-focused bank, and we look forward to building strong relationships with the people of Sheffield.”
The Sheffield branch will offer a range of services. It’s expected to employ five to six full-time staff members.
“Our commitment to personal service and community engagement has been the foundation of Hamlin Bank for more than a century,” Benedict said. “We are thrilled to open this new branch and become a trusted financial partner for the residents and businesses of Sheffield.”
