Remake Learning Days looking for youth ambassadors
As Remake Learning Days (RLD) celebrates 10 years of hands-on, creative learning, Pennsylvania high school students have a unique opportunity to join the movement.
The 2025 Remake Learning Days Youth Ambassador Program is now accepting applications from students in ninth through 12th grades.
“This program gives teens the chance to develop real-world skills in marketing, social media, and communication while engaging with their communities,” said Deanna Baringer, program coordinator at SLB Radio, the program’s partner organization. “It’s about empowering students to think creatively and make an impact.”
Youth Ambassadors will “cover” two RLD events in their region by creating a short promo, attending the event, and writing a review. Ambassadors will receive virtual training, check-ins, a digital toolkit, and a stipend of up to $250 for their contributions.
“This is a chance for students to learn storytelling, media production, and promotion–all while celebrating hands-on learning in their own neighborhoods,” Baringer added.
The program is open to all Pennsylvania high schoolers, regardless of prior experience.
“We want students who are passionate and eager to learn,” Baringer explained. “This isn’t about perfection–it’s about enthusiasm and growth.”
Applications are open through Feb. 14. Selected ambassadors will be notified by Feb. 24. The program runs from March through June, with events taking place in May.
“Over the years, more than 80 teens have served as Youth Ambassadors, helping make RLD events engaging and memorable,” Baringer noted. “We’re thrilled to involve students in our 10th-anniversary celebration and continue inspiring creativity.”
