St. Joseph Catholic School has once again transformed its gymnasium with an awe-inspiring work of art.

Students collaborated to create a massive blue tape mural in celebration of Catholic Schools Week. This marks the third annual installation of the school’s blue tape mural tradition, and this year’s theme–Noah’s Ark–brought together the creativity and teamwork of the entire student body.

The mural, which spans 60 feet in length and 10 feet in height, was designed and applied by 197 students ranging from preschoolers to sixth graders. The project, which took several days to complete, was a labor of love as students worked together to depict the iconic biblical story of Noah, the ark, and the pairs of animals making their way aboard.

The blue tape mural initiative has become a tradition at St. Joseph Catholic School. It offers students a unique opportunity to express their faith through large-scale visual art. Each year, the chosen theme aligns with religious teachings and reinforces the values upheld by the school community.

Art teacher Mrs. Kammerer guided students through the planning and execution stages, ensuring that every child contributed to bringing the vision to life.

Starting at $2.99/week.
