This production is especially meaningful to the Warren Players, as it is dedicated to the late Gary Brumagin, a longtime director and cherished member of the Warren theatre community who passed away unexpectedly on January 2, just two weeks into rehearsals.
Following Brumagin’s passing, his friend and collaborator Caitlin Webster stepped up to direct the show, ensuring that his vision remained intact.
“Losing Gary was heartbreaking for all of us,” Webster shared. “He was more than just a director – he was a mentor, a friend, and the heart of this production. We knew the best way to honor him was to continue his work.”
With the support of Brumagin’s wife, Dixie, and daughter, Nyssa, the Warren Players made the decision to move forward with the show. Abigail Wilson joined the team as assistant director and stage manager, helping to piece together Brumagin’s notes and maintain the production as he envisioned.

“We wanted to make sure this was still Gary’s show,” Wilson added. “He had such a passion for theatre and for sharing it with our community. The entire cast and crew have really come together to make this happen in his honor.”
Based on Agatha Christie’s best-selling novel, And Then There Were None follows ten strangers lured to a secluded island, each harboring dark secrets from their past. As they arrive, they realize their mysterious host is nowhere to be found – and soon, they start dying one by one in a series of chilling murders that follow the lines of a sinister nursery rhyme.
This psychological thriller, considered one of Christie’s greatest works, will keep audiences guessing until the very last moment.
“It’s such a brilliantly constructed story,” Webster noted. “Every time you think you have it figured out, there’s another twist.”
The production features an 11-member cast, including: Vera Claythorne – Rachel Stowe, Philip Lombard – Andrew Stalder, Sir Lawrence Wargrave – Troy Dinga, Dr. Edward Armstrong – Doug McCracken, Emily Brent – Karin Davidson, General John MacKenzie – Michael Stenberg, William Blore – Benjamin Segel, Anthony Marston – Camden Drayer, Fred Narracott – Jay Servis, Mr. Rogers – Elias Eastman,Mrs. Rogers – Amanda Beil.

Costume design was led by Lori Dellamedaglia and the Warren Players costume team, ensuring authentic period pieces that capture the eerie, isolated atmosphere of the play.

This production of And Then There Were None is more than just a performance–it is a celebration of Brumagin’s love for theatre and his lasting impact on the Warren Players community.
“Gary always believed in the power of storytelling and the importance of making theatre accessible to everyone,” Webster reflected. “We hope this production not only entertains but also honors his incredible legacy.”
