Clarendon woman pleads guilty to statutory sexual assault
A Clarendon woman has pleaded guilty to five charges against her, including statutory sexual assault.
Chyna Repine, 27, of Clarendon pleaded guilty at arraignment proceedings March 6 in front of Judge Maureen Skerda to charges of first-degree statutory sexual assault: 11 years or older; second-degree felony sexual assault, third-degree felony corruption of minors – defendant age 18 or above and second-degree misdemeanor indecent assault of a person less than 16 years of age.
Those charges satisfy a 28-count list of charges filed by Conewango Township Police in September against Repine for allegedly having sex with a 14-year-old male “hundreds of times” at an Allegheny Drive residence between December 2023 and April 2024.
Police received a report from the juvenile’s mother, who received screenshots that allegedly showed the juvenile drinking with Repine. In an initial interview, the youth admitted drinking while Repine was in the room but did not disclose any sexual contact but an interview with a third party occurred in September. That individual disclosed that Repine and the juvenile “began hanging out a lot and ‘smoking weed,'” the affidavit of probable cause states.
The Affidavit of Probable Cause filed in the case alleges that the third party “became suspicious that something might be going on” between the juvenile and Repine. That individual told police that Repine allegedly told her that sexual contact with the minor resulted in a pregnancy that was terminated.
Police met with the juvenile again in September and allege in the affidavit that the young man was “very honest and articulate.” The juvenile allegedly told police that he and Repine began “flirting” around Christmas and that they allegedly had sex in the following days.
He told police that “it became a regular thing” and that “she (Repine) would also purchase marijuana from the reservation in New York State and they would ‘smoke weed’ every day he was there.'” He also allegedly told police that sexual contact occurred “hundreds of times.”
In exchange for the guilty plea to one of each of the charges Repine faced, the following charges were not prosecuted: three counts of first-degree statutory sexual assault: 11 years or older; four counts of unlawful contact with a minor – sexual offenses; three counts of sexual assault, three counts of corruption of minors – defendant age 18 or above; four charges of corruption of minors, four counts of indecent assault without consent of the other and three counts of indecent assault person less than 16 years of age.
Repine also pleaded guilty to a fifth charge of corruption of a minor filed in December after she sent a 15-year-old nude and partially nude photos via Snapchat.
