Property reassessment meetings begin Thursday
Warren County officials have announced a series of public meetings to discuss property reassessment, allowing residents to learn more about the process and voice their concerns.
The sessions will be held at various locations throughout the county starting Thursday. The reassessment meetings will provide information about property valuation updates and allow attendees to ask questions about how reassessments may affect them. County officials encourage all property owners to attend and participate in these discussions.
The public meetings will include a presentation from Vision Government Solutions, the firm conducting the county-wide reassessment. They will provide an update on the current status of the reassessment process and outline what will be happening in the coming months. Additionally, a Warren County Assessment Office staff member will attend each meeting to assist with questions and concerns.
Meetings will be held at the following dates and locations:
– Thursday – Columbus VFD Social Hall, 7 W Main St, Columbus
– Monday – Sheffield VFD Social Hall, 318 S Main St, Sheffield
– Wednesday, March 12 – Youngsville VFD Social Hall, 29 Fireman Dr, Youngsville
– Thursday, March 13 – Main Courtroom, Warren County Courthouse, 204 Fourth Ave., Warren.
Each meeting will begin at 6 p.m. and is expected to last two hours. County representatives and assessment professionals will be available to provide details on how reassessments are conducted and explain the potential implications for property taxes.
