City woman pleads guilty to thefts

A Warren woman has pleaded guilty to several minor thefts on four separate court dockets.

Pleas involving five sets of charges against Christa M. Sudul were among those resolved with plea agreements on Monday in front of Judge Maureen Skerda in the Court of Common Pleas. Sudul faced several theft charges dating back to October.

Misdemeanor charges of theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property were not prosecuted on one docket. On a second and third docket, Sudul pleaded guilty to one charge of theft by unlawful taking while a charge of receiving stolen property was not prosecuted. On a fourth docket, Sudul pleaded guilty to a charge of theft by unlawful taking and two counts of theft of mail while three counts of theft by unlawful taking were not prosecuted. Sudul also pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia on a fifth docket heard Monday by Skerda.

“The defendant advised that she had ‘identity issues’ and felt ‘entitled’ to take the package,” the Affidavit of Probable Cause filed in the most recent theft case stated.

Other plea agreements reached Monday include:

– Danielle Thornton pleaded guilty to a charge of DUI: controlled substances – Schedule 2-3 with juvenile passenger – first offense and a traffic citation. Charges of DUI: controlled substances – schedule 1 with juvenile passenger and DUI: controlled substances – metabolite with juvenile passenger were not prosecuted.

– Randon S. Servesko pleaded guilty to DUI: combined alcohol and drug or combination of drugs and a traffic citation. Charges of DUI: controlled substances – schedule 2-3 – first offense, DUI: controlled substances – impaired ability – first offense and two traffic citations were not prosecuted.

– Autumn Rudolph pleaded guilty to possession/sale/use display documents and possession of a controlled substance while charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and a traffic citation weren’t prosecuted. A bench warrant was issued and a community corrections sentence was rescinded.

– Ian Royo pleaded guilty to retail theft.

– Monica L. Rose pleaded guilty to DUI: general impairment – incapable of safe driving – second offense and three traffic citations. A charge of DUI: high rate of alcohol (BAC.10-.16%) – second offense and seven traffic infractions were not prosecuted.

– Helen K. Lummus pleaded guilty to a charge of simple assault while charges of strangulation, disorderly conduct and harassment were not prosecuted.

– Starr D. Bliss pleaded guilty to amended charges of criminal conspiracy (retail theft), possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
