Upon retirement, the Boozers moved back to Scandia permanently.
Boozer has a love of all history, both her family history as well as the Scandinavian history of Elk Township. She has written a total of five books
Recently, Boozer and son, Dr. Wesley Boozer, relocated to State College, Pa., for the youngest Boozer’s position at Penn State University, though Mrs. Boozer plans to return to Scandia for weekends and summers.
