After a transformative year of restoration and growth, Twig & Vine marked its first anniversary with a celebratory ribbon cutting.

WCCBI officials presented Wendy McCain, owner of Twig and Vine, with a plaque in front of a well-dressed crowd and plenty of champagne. Housed in a restored historic building in downtown Warren, Twig and Vine is an urban wine lounge.

The restoration, which began with a building plagued by leaking roofs and ruined floor joists, was a labor of love aimed at both preserving history and enhancing the local community.

“When we purchased the building there were four active leaks in the roof, the floor joists were ruined, so a great deal went into the restoration of the historic building,” McCain said.. “We believe this was important to help elevate Warren’s downtown, and the timing was right with so many other small businesses that paved the way. We are super happy to call Warren home and to be part of the downtown resurgence.”

Since opening, Twig & Vine has welcomed guests into a casual, eclectic space designed for date nights, get-togethers, or solo relaxation. Its global wine list includes local brews from Bent Run, a curated bourbon collection and booze-free cocktails by Curious Elixirs. Food and desserts are also available.

In warmer months, the front of the venue opens to create a breezy indoor-outdoor atmosphere, ideal for enjoying the energy of downtown Warren.

Located across from Music in the Park, held every Friday from May through September, Twig & Vine also adds an outdoor restaurant component to the summer music festival.

Starting at $2.99/week.
