Warren man jailed after Thursday assault

A Warren man has been taken to the Warren County Jail after an alleged early morning assault in Conewango Township.

Kyle M. Reynolds, 33, of Warren was charged with first-degree felony aggravated assault – attempts to cause serious bodily injury or causes injury with extreme indifference; second-degree felony aggravated assault – attempts to cause or causes serious bodily injury with a deadly weapon; second-degree felony strangulation – applying pressure to throat or neck; simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct on Thursday by Conewango Township police.

Reynolds was arraigned by Magisterial District Court Judge Todd Woodin, who set bail at $100,000 on Friday morning. Reynolds was unable to post bail and was taken to the county jail. A preliminary hearing will be held April 23 in Woodin’s court.
