Kathryn Niemeyer
Kathryn Ann Niemeyer, 58, of Youngsville, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, January 4, 2017. Kathryn was born November 6, 1958, in Warren. She was the daughter of Christine (Miller) Smith.
Kathryn was a graduate of Warren High School, class of 1976. She was a caseworker for the Warren County Assistance Office for 35 years, from which she retired in 2011. She was a great supporter of the Youngsville wrestling team and the marching band. Kathryn was also involved with the Crawford County 4H and the Crawford County Home, where she made Afghans to help them with fundraisers. Kathryn enjoyed golfing at Jackson Valley Country Club. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband, David A. Niemeyer; four children, Aaron Niemeyer, of Youngsville, Tracy Gulnac, and fiance Eric Carlson, of Waterford, Kristie Lino, and husband, Craig, of Crossville, TN, and Matthew Esterbrook, of Marienville; one sister, Elaine Seeley, and husband, Ken, of Seagertown; one uncle, Dave Taylor, of Warren; three grandchildren, Miranda and Riley Gulnac, and Damian Lino; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, aunts and uncles.
Friends will be received at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc. 1003 Penn. Ave. E., Warren, on Sunday, January 8, from 2 to 5 p.m., and on Monday, January 9, at the Youngsville Free Methodist Church, 179 Davis Street, Youngsville, for one hour prior to a service to be held there at 11 a.m., with Rev. Rick Hamrick, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
