Jane Guthrie

Jane L, Guthrie, 72, of 9 Morrison Street, Warren, PA, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Saturday, February 3, 2017.
Jane was born September 25, 1944 in Warren, PA, the daughter of the late John J. and Luella C. (Littlefield) Zurcher. Jane was a lifelong Warren area resident, and a 1964 graduate of Youngsville High School. She was employed as a Shift Supervisor at the Blair Corporation for twenty eight years, retiring in 2001. Although she worked full time, she will be fondly remembered for her love of family, making her children and grandchildren her life, family gatherings, holidays, watching many softball games, and staying in touch with everyone. She also enjoyed her many annual vacations to Florida. Jane will be forever missed by her family and many friends.
She is survived by her husband, James L. Guthrie, whom she married on February 9, 1964; four daughters, Kimberly Guthrie Stewart and husband Jason, of Warren, Cindy Guthrie and companion Mike Cameron, of Warren, Charmane Guthrie Winslow and husband Troy, of Warren, Tammy Guthrie Case and husband Chris, of Surf City, NC.; two sons, James L. Guthrie Jr. and wife Holly, of Falconer, NY, and John Guthrie and wife Helen, of Warren; her twin sister Jeanette Zurcher and companion Phil Rockwell, Warren, sister Diane Guthrie and husband Chuck, of Warren, sister Carol Guthrie and husband Bob, Irvine, PA, sister Shonda Schrader and husband Ray, of Warren, brother Robert Zurcher and wife Mary, of Warren, twin sister and brother Bonnie Mickleson and husband Steve, of Tidioute, and Barry Zurcher and wife Michele, of Jamestown, NY, sister Debbie Zurcher of Warren, and sister Donna Spicer and husband Mike of Lander; eleven grandchildren, Amanda and husband AJ, Carisa and husband Noah, Courtney, Jennifer, Madison, Elisette, Jiordyn, Geoffrey, Sheldon, Jeremy, and Brandon; and three great grandchildren, Ganesa, Nathaniel, and Ethan; and many, many, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Jane was preceded in death by two brothers, Steven and Jan Zurcher.
Friends will be received at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc., 1003 Penna. Ave. East, Warren, PA, on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 from 11 am to 1 pm, at which time a funeral service will be held, with Rev. Dale Haight, officiating.
