Vincent Pace

Vincent A. “Vinnie” Pace, 71, of Warren, Pa., died Sunday morning, June 3, 2018 after an extended illness at Kinzua Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center, Warren, PA. He was born in Warren, PA., to the late Bruno and Sabia Ditonto Pace. Vince was a lifelong Warren area resident and a 1964 graduate of Warren High School.

He was always remembered as a truly talented athlete while in school, playing in high school football and baseball. He was a veteran with the U.S. Army as a Tech Sergeant during Vietnam War, earning a Bronze Star Medal. He was owner and operator of the BullPen Bar and Restaurant for 40 years. He was a member of St. Joseph R.C. Church, Struthers Hose and a life member of Clarendon Veterans of Foreign Wars. He enjoyed motorcycle riding and hunting. One of the great joys in his life were spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and attending their sporting events.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Charlene Smith Pace whom he married June 1, 1974 in Warren, PA., 3 Children – Michele Pace of Pensacola, Fl., James B. Pace of Buffalo, N.Y., Malissa L. Snyder and husband, Pete of Warren, PA., 4 Sisters – Dora Cicchini of Pittsburgh, PA., Antionette Durkin and husband, Michael of Alexandria, VA., Sylvia Larson and Mary Larson both of Tampa, FL., 3 Grandchildren – Cassandra Mason of Warren, PA., Colin Mason of Ft. Hood, TX., Elijah Snyder of Warren, PA., several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a stillborn son, 1 Sister – Rafaela Peck.

Friends may call at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304 East Street, Warren, PA., on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted Thursday, June 7, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Joseph R.C. Church, 600 Pennsylvania Avenue West, Warren, PA., with Fr. Richard Tomasone, Pastor, officiating. Interment will be in St. Joseph R.C. Cemetery where full military honors will be conducted by members of Clarendon/Sheffield V.F.W. Honor Guard and the U.S. Army funeral personnel.
