Carolyn L. Peyton

She was born on May 9, 1961 in Warren, a daughter to the late Edward Sadley and Anita Blum Schaffer, who survives her. Carolyn was a volunteer firefighter and EMR for several years. She enjoyed camping, fishing, hiking, traveling, kayaking and raising chickens, but most of all, she loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her mother, Carolyn is survived by her husband, Daniel Peyton whom she married on December 4, 2010 in Youngsville; 2 sons, Kevin (Jamie) Sheehy of Warren and John Sheehy and his fiancÈ, Laura McKibbin, of Warren; her stepchildren, Bobby and Stephanie Rouche, Angel Noel McShane, Daniel and Billy Peyton; 2 sisters, Roseanne Chase of Jamestown and Marlene (Bryan) Johnson of Warren; a brother, Bill (Missy) Schaffer of Warren, her grandchildren, Alice and Thomas Sheehy; several stepgrandchildren, stepgreatgrandchildren and nieces and nephews and her closest friend, Kim Lyon.

In addition to her father, Carolyn was preceded in death by a son, Danny Jack Sheehy and her husband, Thomas Rouche.

No services will be held per Carolyn’s wishes.
