Beatrice “Bea” Margaret Brown Bines, 83, of Warren, Pa., passed away on January 19, 2020, after an extended illness.

Bea was born on October 4, 1936 in Warren, Pa., to Ralph and Rose Giegerich Brown. She graduated from Warren Area High School in 1954, went on to work for Blair (New Process) for 35 years as a supervisor in order handling. Some of her hobbies were knitting and crocheting.

Bea was an avid reader, flower gardener, bird watcher, and baker. She was a member of the Free Methodist Church in Youngsville. Throughout her life, Bea served on several church committees. Bea loved traveling with her husband, Bud, and family, and watching sports with Bud, specifically the Pittsburgh Pirates. She loved hosting large family gatherings every holiday at her home. Her grandchildren brought so much joy to her life, and she would knit each one a special afghan.

In addition to her parents, Bea was preceded in death by her siblings: Harold Brown, Robert Brown, Elizabeth Brown Buzard, William Brown, Barbara Brown Blum, Franklin Brown, and Susan Brown Clark; her sister in laws Marsha Bines Swanson, Judy Bines Waddell, and Joyce Bines Valentine.

Bea is survived by her husband of 65 years ,Robert “Bud” Bines; her daughter Debbie (Roger) Fontaine of Parkersburg, West Virginia, son Randy (Linda) Bines of Laurens, South Carolina, Judy (James) Walker of Hershey, Pa., son Steve Bines of Pahokee, FL., son Scott Bines of Warren, Pa.; sister Ruthie Brown Eggleston; brother in law Jim (Kathy) Swanson; brother in law Richard (Vera) Bines; Grandchildren Michele Sanders, Joshua Bines, Jason Bines, Jennifer Bines, Jamie Bines, Kevin Bines, Ryan Bines, Rachel Bines, Samantha Bines, Zachary Bines, Ally Walker, Christopher Walker, Madeline Walker; 21 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A private memorial will be held at a later date.

Memorial donations may be made to the Free Methodist Church in Youngsville, Pa. The Nelson Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Youngsville have been entrusted with all arrangements.
