Roger A. Jurkiewicz

He was proceeded in death by his parents, Peter and Mary Jurkiewicz.

Roger graduated from Our Lady of Lords High School in 1962.

He is survived by his wife, Susie whom he married Nov 1969, they would have celebrated 51 years next month.

In his younger days, Roger worked for the United Refinery as the sergeant of security as well as security for Jamesway and was the SPCA officer for the Warren County Human Society. While residing in California, he volunteered his time as a firefighter at Follows Camp.

In his free time, he en-joyed fishing, playing the accordion, watching cartoons, wrestling, NASCAR and horror movies. He especially loved spending time with his family, friends and fur babies.

Roger is survived by his four children: Lonni (Jurkiewicz) Hendershott, Johnetta (Jurkiewicz) Maartense (John), Misty Jurkiewicz and Paul Jurkiewicz. Roger was also blessed with 11 grandchildren and one great-grand-daughter; and many in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and a Goddaughter. He will for-ever be loved and missed dearly.

He was preceded in death by an infant granddaughter, Nancy Dawn Hansel.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, Oct 24, 2020, at the Sheffield Unit-ed Methodist Church at 1 p.m. All state Covid requirements will be followed.
