Robert J. Cisek

He was born on Sept. 17, 1938, in Creighton, Pa., a son to the late Lawrence and Helen (Kurpiel) Cisek.

Bob was a 1956 graduate of East Deer High School and then served in the U.S. Army Reserves before attending Clarion University where he earned his teaching degree. He was a 6th grade science teacher in Starbrick and Warren, Pa for most of his life and attended both St. Mary’s Catholic Church in New Kensington and Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Warren, Pa. Bob enjoyed collecting coins, fishing and golfing, especially in the Blueberry Sr. Golf League. He also enjoyed going every week for breakfast at The Plaza in Warren and then golfing afterward with his friends and fellow retired teachers.

He is survived by his brother, Tom (Eileen) Cisek of Leechburg, Pa, two nieces, Lori (Dean) Wonders and Lisa (Steve) Samluk, a great-nephew, Matthew Wonders, a great-niece, Claire Wonders. a step-daughter, Jessica (Edmond) Mieszkowski of Morrisonville, NY, a step-son, Darryl (Carolyn) Hill of Greensburg, Pa, four step-grandchildren, Tanya (Thierry) Bonnabesse, Na-tasha Mieszkowski, Micha-el (Cara) Hill and Katelyn Hill and two step great-grandchildren, Tessa and Sebastien Bonnabesse.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Stella (Swierczewski) Hill Cisek.

A graveside service will be held at a later date.
