Richard Mourer

He was born May 9, 1940, to the late Richard “Bill” and Marjorie Kelsey Mourer.

He was a graduate of Youngsville High School. Dick married Sandra Reed on Sept. 6, 1977, and resided at their farm in Garland, Pa.

He worked for 47 years at the former National Forge Company before retiring. Dick loved farming and his Charolais Cows. He also enjoyed bowling and bowled on many leagues over the years until 2021.

He is survived by his five children: Timothy Mourer, Debra Stover, Ann Mourer, Scott (Renee) Mourer and Steven (Shelly) Mourer; two sisters: Elaine Dorotics and Jane Bartosek; three sisters-in-law: Kathy (Donald) Fronk, Sheryl Waterman, Jamie (Chevy) Scott; seven grandchildren: Bill Mourer, Zachary Mourer, Malea Mourer, Mackenzie and Emily Mourer, Jerad and Kylee Mourer; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra on March 13, 2020.

Friends may attend a graveside service Tuesday, July 6, 2021, at 1 p.m., at Lottsville Cemetery, Lottsville, Pa.
