Robert “Bob” Jon Fath

Bob was born July 9, 1946, in New Brighton, Pa., a son to the late Robert and Betty (Keffer) Fath. He was a retired union carpenter who loved spending time on the river kayaking, making wine, and he was a great cook.

Along with his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his first wife, Kay Fath.

Bob is survived by his wife, Mary Naber Fath, whom he married on July 5, 2014; his son, Robert (Amanda) Fath of Dayton, Ohio; his stepsons: David (Amy) Naber and Daniel (Rebecca) Naber, both of Beaver, Pa; his brothers: Richard (Lori) Hayes of Freedom, Pa., and Thomas (Deb) Hayes of Monaca, Pa.; his sister, Sherri Wilson of Beaver Falls, Pa.; his grandchildren: Markus, Jacob, Noah and Lili Fath; three step grandchildren: Jacob, Abraham and Ruth Naber; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Tidioute Presbyterian Church, 196 Main St., Tidioute, PA 16351, on Sunday, Nov. 14 from 2-4 p.m., at which time the Rev. Dennis Ledebur, pastor, will say a few prayers. Viewing will also take place on Monday, Nov. 15 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., at the Simpson Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Ave., Monaca, Pa 15061. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 16 at 10am at Van Kirk Lutheran Church, 106 Van Kirk Rd, Monaca, Pa 15061, burial will follow at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Rochester, Pa. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial donations be made to the American Heart Association, PO Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692 or at www.heart.org.
