David B. Anderson

David B. Anderson, 70, of Celoron, N.Y., passed away on Monday, December 13, 2021 at UPMC Chautauqua.

David was born on July 2, 1951 in Jamestown, N.Y., the son of the late Paul T. and Barbara Rensfelt Anderson.

David graduated from Maple Grove High School in 1969 and attended Jamestown Community College.

David worked at Ed Shults Pontiac as a sales-man, owned and operated Chug a Lug, Administrator of Jamestown Moose Lodge #1681 and Property Manager for Bryce & Abert Management, LLC.

David was a Pilgrim of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #1681, President of Club Associates, member of Celoron Moose Lodge # 2587, War Vets and South Hill Country Club.

David was an avid golfer and bowler. David liked to entertain people with his Karaoke and Disc jockey hobby. He enjoyed working with his hands and was quite a skilled carpenter. He loved the Buffalo Bills, the NY Yankees and his truck. He loved spending time with family, especially his grandson. David supported his sons in all of their sport-ing events and was their number one fan. He never missed any of their events.

David is survived by his wife of 50 years, Jean Butts Anderson whom he married on June 6, 1970; two sons: Christopher B. (Denise) Anderson of Jamestown, N.Y. and Bradley A. Anderson of Charlotte, N.C.; his grandson: Austin B. Anderson of Jamestown, N.Y.; two brothers: Dennis L. (Chrissy) Anderson of Corry, PA and Todd K. Anderson of Folly Beach, S.C.; his sister: Paula B. (Nick) Langworthy of Point Stockholm, N.Y.; his sister-in-law: Karen Anderson; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, David is preceded in death by two brothers: Timothy P. Anderson and Gregory W. Anderson; two sisters: Lisa M. Bargar and Lynda L. Anderson; his sister-in-law: Phyllis Anderson and his niece: Teri Lynn Dahlbeck.

Friends and family may call at Powers, Present & Sixbey Funeral Home, Inc., 316 East Fifth Street, Jamestown, N.Y. on Saturday from 11AM- 2PM. A service will be held there at 2PM. Burial will be in Fluvanna Cemetery, James-town, N.Y.
