Lisa Ann Terrill Sims

Lisa was born on May 27, 1962, in Natrona Hgts., Pa., the daughter of James R. and Jean M. Terrill.

She graduated from Highlands High School, earned an RN degree from Citizens General Hospital, New Kensington, Pa., and worked in several area hospitals. Lisa married Richard Sims; they had two children: Alex and Sianna. The family relocated from Butler, Pa., to the Phoenix, Ariz. area where they resided for 17 years.

Lisa was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Sims (2015); her mother, Jean M. Terrill (2021); and an older brother, James Loren Terrill (1974).

In addition to her father, children, and three grandchildren, Lisa leaves two older brothers: David W. Terrill (wife, Jean), Tarentum, Pa., and Neil P. Terrill (wife, Jackie), West Pittsburg, Pa.; and seven nephews and nieces.

Lisa was an energetic person with an engaging smile who treated everyone respectfully. She will be sorely missed.

Funeral arrangements were conducted in Apache Junction, Ariz. A commemoration of life remembrance service will be held in the near future.
