Brent C. Johnson, 59, of Clarendon, PA, passed away peacefully at his home with family by his side on March 30, 2023. Brent was born July 20, 1963, to William A. Johnson and Peggy Olson (Johnson) in Warren, PA. He graduated from Sheffield Area High School in 1981 and entered the armed forces. He served in the United States Air Force for 11 years where he had the opportunity to meet his wife and start a family. After serving his country, he returned to Warren County to raise his children. He worked several years at Whirley Industries before becoming a corrections officer at SCI Forest in Marienville, PA where he was employed for 15 years. Brent enjoyed baseball, fishing, hunting, and working on computers. He will be greatly missed by his family and those who knew him.
Brent is survived by his wife of 40 years on March 30, Dong Un Johnson (Kim), daughter Shelly Fitch of Russell, PA, son Brian (Kaitlyn) Johnson Nashville, TN and three grandchildren, Ariana and Nolan Fitch and Blake Johnson. He is also survived by his mother, Peggy Olson, sister Wendy (Scott) Spicer, brother Randy (Stacy) Johnson, sister Terri (Jim) Neall, sister Brenda Johnson and sister Jennifer (George) Mead.
He is proceeded in death by his father William A. Johnson, stepfather Art Olson, brother-in-law Jim Neall, nephew Ryan Johnson and cousin Heidi Teconchuck, whose passing deeply affected him.
There will be no public calling hours or services. A private family visitation was held Monday, April 3, 2023, at the Borden Funeral Home of Sheffield. Military honors were rendered by the Sheffield VFW Honor Guard.
