Mary Jane Peltz
Mary Jane Peltz known to all her friends as “Jane” passed away peacefully June 7 th in Auburn, California.
She was born in Stamford, Connecticut, the daughter of Arthur Brown and Mary Grenier. She was proceeded in death by her husband, J. Robert “Bob” Peltz and her brother, Arthur Brown, Junior. She is survived by her 5 children, 7 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.
Jane lived a full life raising her family and actively participating in her community. She was a kindergarten teacher for nearly 20 years. She was a certified SCUBA Diver, a National Ski Patroller, master gardener and artist. She traveled extensively domestically and abroad often with other family members. The couple’s favorite past time was traveling in their camper trailing one of their boats and exploring rivers and lakes countrywide. They had an insatiable appetite for travel and adventure and loved visiting family members across the country.
There will be no visitation or funeral at this time. A celebration of Jane’s life by her family will be held at the family’s convenience. The family suggests that a memorial be made to Hospice or the Alzheimers Association.
