Karen L. Kane

Karen was born on August 14, 1946, in Philipsburg, PA, the daughter of the late Frank and Betty (Atkins) Saupp. She was a 1964 graduate of Houtzdale High School and a 1967 graduate of Philipsburg State General Hospital School of Nursing. For forty-two years, she was employed at Warren General Hospital from which she retired in 2009. Karen will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many.

Karen is survived by her husband, Harold Robert Kane, whom she married on June 17, 1967; children, Lucinda (John) Peterson of Warren, Traci Anderson of Marysville, PA, and Kristy (Jason) Crawford of Louisburg, NC; grandchildren, Ashley, Nichole, and John Peterson, Cassandra Anderson, Connor and Easton Crawford; one great grandchild, Parker John Haag; one brother, Richard (Lisa) Saupp of Port Matilda, PA; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Karen is preceded in death by a son-in-law, Timothy Anderson.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
