Lee L. Genberg
Lee L. Genberg, 91, of Youngsville, and formerly of Warren, PA, passed away Friday, Feb. 16, 2024, at the Rouse Suites in Youngsville, PA.
Lee was born Nov. 30, 1932, in Warren, the son of the late Laverne and Evelyn Hendrickson Genberg.
Lee was a 1951 graduate of Warren High School. He served with the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He started his career with the Pennsylvania Gas Co. working in the engineering department for 15 years, then transferred to National Forge Co. for 29 years, retiring as supervisor of production drafting.
Lee was a former member of the First Baptist Church. Lee was an exceptional handyman and put his talents to good use helping others. He loved hunting, bowling and enjoyed spending time with his family.
Lee is survived by his two children, Rebecca Bostick and husband Blair of Alexandria, VA, and Stewart Genberg and wife Pam of Brambleton, VA; grandchildren, Taylor Bostick, Patrick Bostick, Matthew Genberg, and Kylie Bostick; stepchildren, Karen Rieth, Melanie McGinty, and Donald Chiodo; step grandchildren, Evan Young, Jeff Young, Matthew Chiodo, Johnathan Chiodo, and Drew Chiodo; two brothers, Richard Genberg and wife Carol, Victor Genberg and wife Pat; two sisters, Judy Smith and husband David, and Louise French; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Lee was preceded in death by his wife, Delores Martin Chiodo in 2008.
At Lee’s request, services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
