Mary Ann (Karrenbauer) Witzel

She was born on April 3, 1936 in Pittsburgh, PA to Peter J. and Marguerite J. (McCaffrey) Karrenbauer.

Mary Ann was a 1954 graduate of Bridgeville High School. She married her high school sweetheart, the late Raymond H. Witzel, later that year. They raised their family in Youngsville, PA where they co-owned and operated the Edgewood Court Motel. Mary Ann was also a bank teller at Warren National Bank and a realtor for Rhonda Craig Realty. Moving to Florida in 1985, she was also a realtor and then became a receptionist for Harris Corporation, retiring in 2006. Mary Ann also enjoyed crocheting and making afghan’s for all her family members. Her pride and joy was her family.

Mary Ann is survived by her three children; Mary Ellen Witzel, Diane (Donald) Croteau and Raymond J. (Teri) Witzel all of Melbourne, FL; six grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and a great great-grandchild on the way. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Jean S. Supan, and brother-in-laws John H. (Mary Ann) Witzel and Dennis L. Witzel and many nephews and nieces.

Mary Ann was preceded in death by her husband; an infant son, Raymond H. Witzel, Jr. in 1955; her parents; her sister, Catherine Arlene Dyer; her in-law’s, John H. and Stella (Trzcinski) Witzel, brother-in-law, William R. Supan and two nephews

Ammen Family Cremation is entrusted with the arrangements. Burial will be private. The family suggests memorial donations be made to her favorite charity, St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
