Linda Nieman Donaldson

Linda Niemann Donaldson passed away on Sept. 23, 2024 at home with loved ones surrounding her.

This is my chance to say goodbye to my family, friends, and acquaintances. Thank you for being a big part of my life. I was born in Titusville on February 24,1943 to Karl and Winifred (Johnson) Niemann. I had a wonderful childhood, thanks to my parents, grandparents, and two sisters. I had a horse, swam and boated in the Allegheny all summer and skied from Tidioute to Cherry Grove in the winter, being pulled behind a car. To list all the fun would take up this whole page.

I went to Washington elementary, and Tidioute high school, graduating in 1962. I had the good fortune to meeting the love of my life James Donaldson on May 3,1975. we married on November 1, 1975, on May 03,1976 (our family anniversary) Jim adopted my children Scott William and Amy Michell. He is the most loving, caring, and generous man I have ever known.

I’m survived by my husband, my children Scott Donaldson of Florida, Amy Cole (Don)of North Carolina, two grandchildren Joshua Ace and Devin Cole, two great grandchildren James Cole and Carmen Ace, a sister Susan Hall, and several nieces and nephews.

I was preceded by my parents, my sister Kay Sarafine, three nephews one niece, and a brother at birth.

Don’t cry for me, I’m just sleeping for a very long nap, something I love to do.
