Bonnie L. Wagner
Bonnie L. Wagner, 72, of Warren, PA, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, Oct. 26, 2024, at her residence.
Bonnie was born May 9, 1952, in Warren, PA, the daughter of the late Donald and Lois Hennessy Lauffenberger. She was a 1970 graduate of Warren Area High School. She was employed as an LPN at Warren General Hospital from which she retired.
Bonnie was a member of the Warren First Church of God and loved her church family. She spent her lifetime reading and living God’s word. She also enjoyed flowers, crocheting, feeding and watching her neighborhood birds but most of all she loved spending time with her great-grandchildren. Bonnie was widely known as the dog whisperer among her family and friends. During her lifetime she rescued and loved over 30 dogs. She was an amazing mother, wife, aunt, grandmother, daughter, sister, friend, caregiver and prayer warrior.
Bonnie is survived by her daughter, Dawn Bines (Patrick) of Sugar Grove, PA; step-daughter, Missy Pollack (George) of Harborcreek, PA; step-son, Troy Wagner of Warren, PA; eight grandchildren, Samantha, Zachary, and Rachel Bines, Mackenzie, and Jacob Engstrom, Paul Eaton, Meagan Thrush, and Tyler Wagner; 11 great-grandchildren, Blakelynn, Gracelynn, Evelynn, Madilyn, Ashlyn, Adalynn, Alaina, Gemma, Alexis, Zoey and Trent; three nephews, Jeremy Weber (Mariah), Kyle and Dylan Reynolds; and one sister, Julie Reynolds of Warren, PA.
In addition to her parents, Bonnie was preceded in death on June 12, 2024, by her husband, Herbert L Wagner, whom she married on May 31, 1975; a daughter, Sally Wagner Engstrom, who passed in 2012; and two brothers, Gary and James Lauffenberger.
Friends and family will be received at First Church of God, 1111 Madison Ave., Warren, PA on Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2024, from 10 AM to 12 PM at which time a memorial service will be held there with Reverend Bill Hargenrader, former pastor of First Church of God, officiating.
