Dorothy Jameson Dutcher

Dorothy was born November 6, 1941, in New Castle, PA, the daughter of the late Robert and Ruth (Edie) Jameson. She attended Academy High in Erie and graduated from Warren High School in 1959. She was employed at Blair Corporation for 22 years as Supervisor of Returns and Quality Control from which she retired in 2001.

Dorothy attended Stoneham Methodist, First Salem Methodist, and presently was attending Wiltsie Community Church. She was a member of the Busy Bee’s Quilt group and several card clubs. Dorothy and her late husband, Ronald Dutcher, were members of the Goldwing Riders Association.

Dorothy is survived by her three children, Daniel Darling and wife Leanne of Ladson, SC., Diana Peterson and husband Melvin of South Valley, NY, and Denise Keppel and husband Paul of Russell, PA, with whom she resided; nine grandchildren, Sara, Tiffany, Audrey, Tori, Miranda, Mick, Lindsey, and Hunter and Lindsay; twelve great grandchildren; and brother, Donald Jameson of San Jacinto, CA.

In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Dutcher, on May 16, 2008, whom she married on May 26, 1990; siblings, Katherine Brunner; Jean Jameson; and James Jameson.

Friends will be received at Wiltsie Community Church, 2981 Swede Hill Rd., Russell, PA, on Friday, November 8, 2024, from 3:00pm to 5:00pm, at which time a funeral service will be held there with Reverend Todd Venman, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be at Eastbrook United Presbyterian Church Cemetery, New Castle, PA, at 11:00am, on November 9, 2024.
