Linda M. Bailey

Linda M. Bailey

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother Linda M. Bailey of Pittsfield township. Linda was 77 years old and was born in Bishop Stortford, England. In a pursuit of adventure, she immigrated to the United States and married her late husband, Arthur Bailey. She was a proud American who forever maintained her no-nonsense English attitude and sometimes unexpected cheeky sense of humor.

She is survived by her three children Brenda Pepper, Tracy Strachan, and Kelly Bailey as well as her four beloved grandchildren.

She worked hard and built a stable happy home. She worked as a seamstress and upholstered furniture while raising her children. She then worked for 20 years as a CNA at the Rouse Home as a way to give back to her community. Linda enjoyed her country life, sitting on her back deck watching the wildlife, cooking, and gardening. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and showed her love through baking and making everyone’s favorite meals. She was known for her homemade pies and practical sewing and crafting projects. Linda was thoughtful through spontaneous sharing of her favorite treats and enjoyed finding “the best deals” for those she loved.

Linda’s life was a testament to the power of hard-work, dedication, and resilience. She will be greatly missed and her legacy of courage and unwavering strength will continue to inspire and live within our hearts forever.

No service will be held.
