Lois Dove Kane Laskowski
Lois Dove Kane Laskowski (88), passed away on December 4, 2024 at McLeod Hospital in Little River, SC, after a brief illness. She was born on May 17, 1936 in Warren, PA, to Henry and Georgia Dove. She graduated from Warren High School in 1954 and worked for Osram Sylvania. She resided in Warren, Russell, and North East Pennsylvania until moving to South Carolina in 2000.
Lois is survived by her daughter, Linda (Kane) Eckman, and sons Jake (Wendy) Kane, Randy (Cheryl) Kane; grandchildren, Travis Eckman, Shailyn (Paul) Robbins, Max Kane, Spencer Kane, and Elizabeth Kane. She also has 5 great grandchildren; her brother, James (Bonnie) Dove of Bluffton, SC, and her good friend, Mary Reist.
Lois was a loving grandmother to both her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She thoroughly enjoyed her time spent with them. She also enjoyed watching all sports and was a great cook.
Lois was predeceased by her husbands, John T Kane and Fred Laskowski.
A memorial service is being planned for her birthday, May 17, 2025.
