Robert T. “Robb” Cochran

Robert T. “Robb” Cochran, 55, of Marienville, passed away Thursday, December 12, 2024 at Hamot Hospital in Erie following an illness.

Born on November 18, 1969 in Warren, he was the son of the late Charles Cochran, Jr. and Judith Rourke Cochran.

He was a 1988 graduate of East Forest High School.

As a youngster he was a member of Marienville Boy Scout Troop 72 where he earned the rank of Eagle Scout, and later he served as Scout Master of the troop for many years.

On July 1, 1989 in Ephrata, PA., he married the former Kimberly Haines. She survives.

Prior to his retirement in 2021 he had been employed by the PA Game Commission for over 30 years, starting his career in 1991. He began his career in Middle Creek Wildlife Management Area in Lancaster County, ending up in the Northwest Region. He served as a deputy for the Game Commission and also as an instructor for Hunter Education. He began his career in the Food & Cover Division and finished his career as a Supervisor.

Robb enjoyed being in the outdoors, hunting and fishing; as well as spending time with family and friends.

Those preceding him in death in addition to his father are his grandparents, Charles and Alma Cochran and Robert and Lula Rourke; his sister Krystalyn; as well as many loving extended family members.

In addition to his wife, Kimberly and his mother, Judith; he is survived by his son, Thomas L. Cochran; his two daughters, Courtney and Mikayla Cochran; his brother, Gary (Lynda) Cochran; and his sister, Amy Cochran.

His family will receive friends on Friday, December 20, 2024 from 2-4PM & 6-8 PM at Furlong Funeral Home, 140 Cherry St., Marienville, PA.

An additional hour of visiting will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2024 from 10-11AM prior to funeral services will be held at 11AM at the funeral home.

Interment will be in Frost Cemetery, Forest County.
