Thomas Braley Sr.
Thomas Braley, Sr., passed peacefully at home on Sunday, December 8, 2024. Born March 2, 1955 in Jamestown, NY, he was the son of the late H. Samuel and Rita Fuller Braley.
Tom served as a Past Chief and President of the Sugar Grove Volunteer Fire Department throughout his 26 years of service. He was an avid fisherman, Buffalo Bills Fan, loved his family and spending time with his dogs, Toby and Penny. He was retired from his employment at Phoenix Metal in Jamestown, NY.
Surviving is his wife of 45 years, Denise Braley whom he married on Feb 3, 1979; 2 sons, Keith (Tessa Bednar) Braley of Randolph, NY, Bryan (Amanda) Braley of Kennedy, NY; 7 grandchildren, Taylor, Caidy, Connor, Chloe, Hunter, Patrick, and Carson Braley; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Tom is preceded in death by a son, Thomas Braley, Jr.; daughter-in-law, Melissa Swanson Braley; a brother, Tim Braley and a sister, Deborah Atkins.
