Donna M. Vanderhoof (Spinks), 71, of Pittsfield, PA, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at Saint Vincent Hospital in Erie, PA. Born on November 30, 1953, to the late George Spinks Sr. and Grace Spinks (Pero),
Donna was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and cherished friend to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Donna was known for her love of spending time with family, enjoying the outdoors, and creating memories on outings with family and friends. She loved playing board games, card games, listening to music, reading, and gardening.
Donna is survived by her daughter, Jessica Anthony, and her son, Guy T. Vanderhoof Jr., who were the lights of her life. Her legacy lives on through her four treasured grandchildren: Abagail Streich, Alexis (Joseph) Bouthiette (Streich), Lillyanna Vanderhoof, and Isaiah Vanderhoof, as well as her two great-grandchildren, Harlow Bouthiette and Sofi Bouthiette, who brought her endless joy and pride.
She is also survived by her two devoted brothers, George Spinks Jr. and Clarence (Rhonda) Spinks, and her loving sister, Elizabeth Anderson (Spinks). Donna leaves behind several nieces and nephews: Shawn Spinks, Scott (Cheryl) Spinks, Jennifer Spinks, BJ Dell, Tiffany (Rob) Cummings, Courtney (Eric) Henry, and Zachary (Shelby) Spinks, as well as many great nieces and nephews, her son-in-law, John Streich, and her best friend, JoAnn Dean.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents, George Spinks Sr. and Grace Spinks (Pero), her brothers, Tommy Spinks and Paul (Gene) Spinks, as well as her husband of many years, Guy T. Vanderhoof Sr.
Through life’s joys and challenges, Donna approached each day with grace and an open heart. She was a source of strength and inspiration to her family and friends.
Though she is no longer with us, the love and wisdom she imparted will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Rest peacefully, you will be deeply missed and forever loved.
