Grover P. McMillen

Grover was born on December 5, 1951, in Warren, Pa., to the late Raymond and Elizabeth Bowser McMillen. After completion of high school, he went on to work at the National Forge in the maintenance department.

He had been a member of the Sugar Grove Volunteer Fire Department. He helped provide EMS coverage at the Warren County Fair for many years. He was involved in the Kinzua Heritage Festival from its inception and could often be found lending a hand wherever it was needed. Grover loved fishing, always had a joke to tell and loved spending time with his family and friends.

He leaves behind his wife, Rebecca Sharp McMillen, whom he married on May 21, 1988 at the Chandlers Valley United Methodist Church; his children Grover McMillen Jr. of Sugar Grove, Mindy (James) Miller of Youngsville, Travis McMillen of Sugar Grove and Paige McMillen of Sugar Grove; siblings Betty Flasher, Linda Cross, and Mary Rogers, all of Chandlers Valley; grandchildren Hope, Aaron, Cameron, and Canian; great-granddaughter Rosalie. I

n addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Raymond Albert McMillen Jr.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, January 19, 2025, from noon to 4pm, at the Sugar Grove Fire Dept. 27 Wilson St., Sugar Grove, Pa.
