Harry Daniel Kopf III (Dan)

He was born on November 10, 1949 in Warren, PA, a son of the late Harry Daniel Kopf Jr. and Ann Newmaker Kopf.

Dan graduated from Knox college in Galesburg, IL where he earned his bachelor’s degree. Dan continued his studies at the University of Berlin and then completed his masters degree at UNC, Chapel Hill in German Language studies.

Dan is survived by his siblings, Cynthia Kopf, Floyd Kopf, Ben Kopf and Andy Kopf.

Dan resided for many years near family in New England and later moved back to his roots in Pennsylvania. While in Pennsylvania, Dan owned and operated the Frewsburg Wine and Spirits liquor store and did woodworking in his spare time. Dan was close to the community and developed many friendships over the years. He will be known for his laugh, humor, and generosity toward his family and friends.

In keeping with Dan’s wishes, no service or visitation will be observed.
