Joni Lee Jordan Gary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear daughter Joni Lee Jordan Gary, on the morning of December 22nd at her home in Pittsburgh, PA with her loved ones by her side.

Joni was born on April 21, 1962. The only daughter of James and Maxine Jordan.

Joni is survived by her husband Bruce Gary and children Danielle and Jordan cherished Granddaughter Sydney brothers Jeff, Jim, Jack, sister in laws Laura Lester, Janet Jordan and her loving parents James and Maxine. Two adopted sisters Linda and Terry Her furry friends Lola the golden retriever, Winky her cat, and many other feral cats that she gladly took in and cared for.

We always wanted a girl and boy did we get one! She enjoyed school so much and had taken part in so many different school activities. She was a class officer, cheerleader captain, Class of 1980 prom queen and homecoming court and many other activities.

She is a 1980 graduate from WAHS and went on to Robert Morris college in Pittsburgh to earn her degree in Business. She was employed at Wade Inc. And had since retired.

Her father tells a story of a teacher telling him “We never had a girl but if we did, we would want her to be just like your daughter” Everybody loves our sweet Joni!
