Kathryn Mae Patterson

She was born in Greenville, PA on November 28, 1945, a daughter to the late Clark and Winifred (Messerall) Campbell. She married Jack in 1965 and was a stay at home mom until she attended Jamestown Community College in 1979 to pursue her degree as a registered nurse. Upon graduation, Kathy worked her entire career at Warren General Hospital. The last two decades of her career were spent in oncology nursing at the Cancer Care Center. She enjoyed bird watching, hiking, biking and kayaking. She was a member of the New Life Church and served in many leadership positions as well as volunteering hours of her time with Hospice, the Rouse Home, and mission teams with Vacation with a Purpose.

She is survived by her children, Susan (Patrick) Garvey of Wexford, PA and Thomas (Denise) Patterson of Warren; her grandchildren, Caleb (Lindsay), Logan and Reyna Garvey and Zachery Patterson; her niece, Julia Campbell and her nephew, Peter Campbell.

In addition to her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by her sister, Nancy Wright and her brother, Glenn Campbell.

Visitation will be held on January 25, 2025 at the New Life Church, 18 Second Street, Youngsville, PA 16371 from 2-3pm at which time a memorial service will be held there with the Rev. Jeff Canter, pastor, officiating.

Memorial donations may be made to the New Life Church or to a charity of your choice.
