Kelly Sue Zofcin
Kelly Sue Zofcin, 58, of Sheffield, PA, formerly of Marienville, PA, passed away Monday evening, January 13, 2025, at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA after a period of declining health. She was born on June 7, 1966, in Clarion, PA the daughter of the late Peter McDonald and Esther (Cussins) McDonald.
Kelly was a graduate of East Forest High School. She continued her education by receiving her bachelor’s degree in clerical administration. She was previously employed at the Blair Corporation in Warren.
Purple was Kelly’s favorite color, and her favorite holiday was Halloween. She loved spending time with the love of her life Phil, playing pool and taking long rides in the truck or on the motorcycle with him. Kelly also loved to sing and loved listening to music.
Kelly persevered even through her roughest days and the health challenges that she faced.
Kelly will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by everyone who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
Left behind to cherish Kelly’s memory are her fiance, Phil Regner of Sheffield, son, Daniel Zofcin, Sheffield, two daughters, Brittany (Alex) Zents, New Bethlehem, PA and Elizabeth Schill, Clarion, PA, brother, William (Donna) McDonald, Texas, her sisters, Debra Brosius (Don), Sigel, PA, Sharon Knorr (Gary), Meadville, PA, Pamala Larsen (Deryl), Florida. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews.
Kelly’s family will welcome family and friends on Friday, January 17, 2025, from 5 PM to 8 PM at the Borden Funeral Home, 203 W. Main Street, Sheffield, PA and again on Saturday, January 18, 2025, from 10 AM to 11 AM. Services will follow at the funeral home at 11 AM with Rev. Deryl Larson, retired Methodist minister and Kelly’s brother- in- law presiding. A luncheon will follow at the Sheffield United Methodist Church by the ladies of the church. Burial will be private.
The family respectfully requests the memorial donations be made in Kelly’s name to a Go Fund Me account set up by the Borden Funeral Home.
