Shea Michael Torrey
Shea Michael Torrey, 29, of Las Vegas, Nevada and formerly of Warren, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, in Las Vegas. Shea was born on August 1, 1995, in Las Vegas, Nevada, the son of Robert Lee Torrey, Sr. and Sherry Lee Minnis Bush.
Shea was a 2013 graduate of Fort LeBouf High School. He went on to proudly serve his country in the United States Marines for eight years of active duty before serving in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard. Shea loved his fellow servicemen, including his three buddies, who referred to themselves as the four Michael’s. They were, without a doubt, true friends. He thoroughly enjoyed spending time with his Marine and National Guard friends. In his past time, Shea enjoyed listening to a variety of music, shooting guns, or watching the New England Patriots play, and he occasionally loved driving fast.
Shea will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him and loving him. Especially, by his loving family. As Shea was welcomed into Heaven, he was surely greeted and embraced by his Lord and Savior with wide open arms, and saying well done my son, good and faithful servant.
Left behind to cherish Shea’s memory are his father, Robert Lee Torrey, Sr of Las Vegas, Nevada. His mother and stepfather, Sherry and Kevin Bush, Warren, PA. His brother, Robert Torrey, Jr of Las Vegas, Nevada and Kevin M. Bush (Addie) of Warren, Pa. His sisters, Amber Torrey of Tennessee, Vanessa (Michael) Schwendemann, of Missouri, Katelinn (Jacob) Bush of Warren, PA and Kyanna (Michael) Donahue of Youngsville, PA, and his grandparents, John and Carolyn Bush of Clarendon, PA. He is further survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins. As well as his faithful furry friend Julian.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Clair and Estelle Minnis and his grandmother, Lynn Meeker.
Shea’s family will welcome family and friends on Monday, January 27, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Borden Funeral Home, 203 W. Main Street in Sheffield, PA.
