Mary Jane Rivera

She was born on Aug. 27, 1952, in Erie, Pa., the daughter of the late Joseph and Dorothy Sutula Neely.

Mary Jane was a 1970 graduate of Warren Area High School and continued her education earning an associate’s degree from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh.

She was employed at Heritage Park in Jamestown as a certified nursing assistant for over 40 years. She was very dedicated to her job and loved taking care of all of the residents.

Mary Jane enjoyed spending time with her son and grandson.

Surviving are her three sisters, Patricia (David) Malone of Warren, PA.; Frances (Kenneth) Means of San Angelo, TX; Nancy Tweel of Bethel Park, Pa.;one grandson, Carmelo Rivera of Jamestown, NY, and several nephews and nieces.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by Her son, Gerald W. Rivera Jr. in 2021.

Visitation will be held Friday, Feb. 7, 2025, from 11 am to 1 pm at the Lind Funeral Home.

A private burial will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery in Warren, Pa.
