Donna Kay Badger, 73, of Sheffield, PA passed away unexpectedly on Monday morning, March 17, 2025, at her home. She was born on June 14, 1951, in Ashtabula, OH, the daughter of the late Earl Abbott and Gertrude (Weddle) Abbott.
Donna was previously employed as a bus driver for the TAWC bus in Warren, PA. She was a member of the Sheffield VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed puzzles, painting, and especially playing cards with her neighbors and friends at the apartment complex in which she lived. She especially enjoyed the Thanksgiving holiday where she could welcome family members home. She will be fondly remembered for being a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Left behind to cherish Donna’s memory are her sons: John Badger (Louise) of Indiana, Burdette Thomas of Warren, PA, Mikeal Thomas of Warren, PA; her daughters: Johna Carnegie (Robert) of Sheffield, PA, Ruth Priester of Williamsport, PA; her brothers James (Pete) (Judy) Abbott, Rodger Abbott (Melanie), Albert Abbott; her grandchildren: Christopher Priester, Kellie Carnegie (fiancÈ Bo), great granddaughter Sophia, Nicholas Carnegie (Karissa), and great grandchildren: Carter, Avery, Leah. She is further survived by many more grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded by in death by a daughter, Pamala Priester and two brothers, Earl and Roy Abbott.
Donna’s family will welcome family and friends on Saturday, March 22, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Borden Funeral Home, 203 W. Main St., in Sheffield, PA. Services will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Ruth Ann Varrato presiding. Burial will be private.
