Virginia L. Brown

Virginia was born on June 15, 1944 in Greens burg, PA to the late Richard Weaver and Annabelle Overly Smith.

After school, she went on to become an LPN, working for many years at the Rouse Warren County Home in Youngsville. Virginia loved to travel and see new places, always stopping at the occasional yard sale, or just relaxing with a good book with her dog Cricket. She did miss her many years in the nursing field and helping people. Virginia will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Brown in 2003; her daughter, Deborah Pearsol; her brother, Bruce Weaver and her grandson Chris Goodwin.

Virginia is survived by her son, George (Paula) Hayden Jr. of Jeanette, PA; her step-children, Jacqueline Mars and Gerald Brown Jr.; her brother, Larry (Barbara) Weaver of Woodbine, GA; her son in law, Clyde Pearsol; her grandchildren, Desiree, Anita, Amanda, Tamara, Kristen, Patrick, Michelle, Charlene and Jamie; several great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Per Virginia’s wishes, no Services will be held at this time.

The Nelson Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 314 North Main St, Youngsville, Pa 16371, have been entrusted with all arrangements.
