Amy M. Carlson, of Warren, PA., died peacefully with her family at her bedside, Tuesday, April 15, 2025, after a brief illness. She was born June 20, 1967, in Huntsville, AL. She was the daughter of Elizabeth R. “Betsy” Lawson Bowersox of Warren, PA., and the late Jerome L. “Jerry” Bowersox. Amy has resided in Warren, PA., most of her life. She was a 1989 graduate of Warren Area High School and earned her Bachelor of Fine Art degree from Slippery Rock State University. She was currently employed with Oneida Lumber/Ace Hardware.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her two sons, Joseph and Shane Carlson; her brother,Todd J. Bowersox, all of Warren, PA.; several aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.
Friends and family will be received on Monday, April. 21, 2025, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304 East St., Warren, PA. where a private funeral service will be conducted at the convenience of the family with Rev. Dr. Dale Haight, officiating.
