A good leader
Dear Editor,
In both the military and the workplace, a good leader will bring people together to achieve a common objective. He will instill confidence in his subordinates and encourage them to pull together. He will listen to advice and make an informed decision. He will earn their respect in the process and that is how he will achieve his objective.
He will not instill confidence and earn respect by name-calling, belittling and ridiculing those of whom he needs support; and any short term objectives he does achieve will soon be replaced when he is.
Using past Presidents as a benchmark, would you consider Donald Trump a good leader?
