Golf tournament
RUSSELL — The inaugural Warren Football Golf Scramble will be held Saturday, June 18 at Blueberry Hill Golf Club.
The tournament will feature a 9 a.m. shotgun start.
The entry fee is $80 per person or $320 per four-person team. The cost includes 18 holes of golf, cart, food at the turn and a chicken barbecue after golfing.
On-course skill prizes and raffles will be available as well. Option team skins are $20 per team.
The registration deadline is Saturday, June 11. Registration begins the day of the tournament at 8 a.m.
Make checks payable to WAHS Gridiron Club and mail a registration form to Cody Bupp, 189 Weller Road, Warren, 16365. Registration is also available by email at crb5270@gmail.com.
Hole-in-one
WARREN — Zach Bezon made his first career hole-in-one at the 138-yard 11th hole at Conewango Valley Country Club on May 26. Bezon accomplished the feat with his 9-iron. Dave Nostrant, John Wagner and Ken Feaster witnessed the shot.
