Kophazy goes 3-2 at nationals

Warren 14-year-old Jenna Kophazy was 3-2 at 92 pounds competing for the Pennsylvania Girls National 14U Wrestling program at National Junior Duals June 15-19 in Tulsa, Oklahoma recently. Team Pennsylvania came home with not one, but two girls’ national titles. The team went undefeated in freestyle, and also undefeated to win the first-ever Greco-Roman girls’ national title. Jenna and her sister, Sky, will be at the grand opening of the Kinzua Wrestling Club in the Market Street Plaza in Warren from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, July 16 to answer questions about wrestling for girls that are thinking about wrestling and any boys, too, of course. The club will be scheduling try outs/sign-ups in the near future.
